2021 Oct 18

The director of the social infrastructure of the Mexican group Marhnos, Héctor Aguilar, said today that Peru is attractive for foreign investment for the development of social infrastructure.

"Peru is an attractive growing economy of a considerable size, and with opportunities in social infrastructure, hospitals, roads, schools, telecommunications, and others, it has many opportunities," he indicated in Andina Canal Online.

"There are treaties that support us, there is the trade integration agreement that was signed in 2012, the Pacific Alliance, there are many aspects that attract Mexican investment to Peru," he added.

He said that the Peruvian economy despite the changes in government continues to be stable in economic growth and the macroeconomic framework and investment-grade make Peru attractive.

He pointed out that Peru needs to develop social infrastructure because the need is growing and in the different governments there is awareness of prioritizing the construction of schools, hospitals, among others.
