It is an international system that requires companies to implement best practices in design, construction, and operation for what are known as green buildings. In September 2017, the Regional Hospital of Tlalnepantla de Baz, which operates marhnos® for the Social Security Institute of the State of Mexico and Municipalities, became the first hospital to obtain the LEED Mexico certification for new constructions.
